Here’s my first official post, which began the online journal.

Hello and welcome. This will be my first official journal web log, or blog as it’s more often called now, but I still like the sound of the journal.

I was supposed to already know what my niche is and whom my target audience would be, but since I don’t know yet I’ll simply follow Gary Vaynerchuk’s advice and just document the process and my journey.

I’m starting before I’m ready, as advised by Marie Forleo, and we’ll see where the process and the journey takes me.

Not long after following these two pieces of advice, I was able to stop overthinking everything. 

I was then able to discover my true purpose for creating an online journal. I wanted to leave a legacy for my heart’s truest treasure… my children.

This online journal will include videos, which will help give you a visual window with sound into the past; you’ll be able to see what life was like in my time.

I’ll be creating video logs or “vlogs”, which I reckon sounds weird along with “blog”. I’ll also create videos that help and guide people. 

I hope these videos help you to see with your own eyes, and be able to listen with your own ears, the process and my journey.

My writing and videos will be my legacy for my children, and their children, and for posterity.

If by chance you happen to come across my online journal and video library, I hope that they’re able to help and teach you in some way.

I also write this now to share my goals and dreams that I’ve finally made the decision to commit to. By sharing this with the world, I leave myself exposed and vulnerable but at the same time, I ensure I hold myself accountable to what I say I’m going to do and my commitments.

From here on, I will live a life with no more regrets.

I will create and play rather than work.

And… I will enjoy living in the moment and enjoy the song and dance while the music playing.
